Talent Acquisition Partner (Contract) – The IN Group | BioTalent (US Project)

Location: Remote (California-based candidates only)

Start date: Immediate

Contract: 3-month FTC (potential to go permanent)

Compensation: Fixed monthly salary + performance bonuses (per role filled + project completion bonus)

About the Role

The IN Group and BioTalent are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join on a 3-month project supporting a key client scaling across Software Engineering , Machine Learning , AI , and Founding Engineer roles.

You’ll work closely with Perrin Joel (Project Manager) and Sam Francis , driving end-to-end hiring across high-impact technical positions in the US, particularly across California , with a mix of on-site (San Diego) and remote roles.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with hiring teams to understand complex technical requirements.
• Source, qualify, and manage candidates for roles in Software Engineering , Principal Engineering , ML/AI , and Founding Engineer positions.
• Deliver consistent results - you’ll be assessed on number of placements per month and communication skills .
• Support hiring across industry-agnostic sectors, including healthcare and techbio incubators.
• Drive engagement with both passive and active candidates to deliver exceptional hiring outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven success in technical recruitment - ideally within software, ML, AI, or startup environments.
• Strong sourcing ability across US markets, with knowledge of California talent hubs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-starter who thrives in a fully remote, fast-moving environment.
• Available to start immediately (Monday) .
