**School-Based Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)**
_Full-time · Phoenix & Buckeye, AZ_
**About the Role**
I'm partnering with a respected education and therapy organization offering integrated OT, ABA, and Speech Therapy services across the Valley. This school-based OTA role supports students from early childhood through young adulthood at the Phoenix campus and Buckeye (once weekly). You'll help students build functional, sensory, and life skills within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment following a traditional school calendar (August-May) with an optional summer program.
**What You'll Do**
+ Deliver direct and consultative OT services under supervision of a licensed OT.
+ Use a push-in classroom model-collaborate with teachers and integrate OT goals into daily lessons.
+ Support fine motor, handwriting, feeding, and life skills development; assist older students with vocational readiness.
+ Maintain accurate documentation, participate in IEP meetings, and communicate progress to caregivers and school staff.
**Qualifications**
+ Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
+ Active Arizona OTA license (or eligibility).
+ Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability working across classrooms and with diverse teacher styles.
+ Experience in special education or behavioral settings preferred.
**Pay Details:** $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
