Job Description

Our client is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to support 2nd or 3rd shift operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and robotic systems, with a focus on die casting equipment and automation.

Relocation Assistance: Not Available

Work Shifts: 2nd Shift (3:00PM-11:00PM) or 3rd Shift (11:00PM-7:00AM)

Responsibilities:

• Perform gas and electric welding operations.
• Execute preventive and proactive maintenance tasks.
• Install, move, and align new and existing equipment.
• Operate machine shop equipment with moderate accuracy.
• Complete machine repair records and maintain a clean work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision or team leader.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and combustion malfunctions.
• Modify and diagnose ABB robot positions (Models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, M6700)
• Troubleshoot equipment using ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software.

Qualifications:

• Welding (gas and electric)
• ABB robot diagnostics and modifications.
• Mechanical and hydraulic troubleshooting.
• PLC troubleshooting (SLC 500, PLC 5, Control Logix)
• Ability to determine and implement effective repair procedures.
• 4+ years of experience in Allen Bradley, hydraulics, robotics, and welding.
• A level technician proficiency in troubleshooting die casting machine cells.
• Technical/vocational training or relevant college coursework.
