Job Title: Instrument Technician IIJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated Instrument Technician II to join our team. This role requires the successful candidate to work on-site, primarily during the second shift. The Instrument Technician II will be responsible for the setup and preparation of equipment for on-site installation, ensuring adherence to pre-installation processes and quality standards. The role involves inspecting products, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our quality systems.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate equipment and processes in accordance with standard operating procedures and site protocols.
Inspect products for quality and adherence to specifications.
Complete and ensure accuracy of all process orders and associated required documentation, records, and metrics.
Prepare and maintain work centers according to specifications.
Train others in the department as needed.
Maintain and continuously improve the quality system and achieve quality objectives through daily actions.
Perform material handling of incoming and outgoing instruments.
Essential Skills
High school diploma or GED and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or equivalent work experience.
2 years of progressive experience repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking, or equivalent military experience.
Effective time-management, organization, and prioritization skills.
Good written/verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and within a team setting.
Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems, and information technology and/or certified Medical Technician.
Ability to understand and comply with appropriate safety, health, and environmental procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
Experience working in a regulated work environment.
Work Environment
This position requires working on-site with a shift schedule from 3:15 PM to 11:45 PM, Monday to Thursday, and from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Friday. The work environment is fast-paced and requires adherence to safety, health, and environmental procedures. The role involves handling both mechanical and electronic equipment, with an emphasis on quality control and process improvement.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $33.00/hr.
