Job Description

As a Mulesoft Lead Developer, you will make an impact by leading the design and implementation of robust integration solutions using MuleSoft technologies. You will be a valued member of the Integration Solutions team and work collaboratively with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality API and integration services. **In this role, you will:** · Lead the development and deployment of MuleSoft integrations and APIs across CloudHub and on-prem environments. · Implement API security and ensure compliance with best practices for secure integrations. · Drive Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes using Maven, Jenkins, BitBucket, GIT, and MuleSoft. · Design and execute MUnit test cases to ensure quality and reliability of integration solutions. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an AGILE environment to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions. **Work Model** We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 4 days a week in a client office in Charlotte, NC. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance through our various wellbeing programs. **What you need to have to be considered:** · 10+ years of overall experience with strong MuleSoft, Java, and integration background. · 5+ years of hands-on experience with MuleSoft CloudHub, on-prem, and API Management. · Expertise in message transformation, validation, routing, and orchestration in MuleSoft. · Experience in implementing API security and managing complex workloads with minimal supervision. · Advanced experience with Java, JSON, XML, MS SQL Server or Oracle, Queues (JMS, MSMQ, Active MQ), RAML. **These will help you stand out:** · Experience in AGILE-based project development. · Superior communication skills, comfortable working with middle and senior management. · Advanced knowledge of and adherence to Software Development Life Cycle methodology. · Ability to write comprehensive technical documentation and coach or influence others. · Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using industry-standard tools. \#LI-SS2 Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer.
