Job Title: OSP Designer Job Description

A successful OSP Designer will design and deliver coax and fiber optic telecommunications designs using the ESRI suite and other GIS products. This position requires a good working knowledge of ArcGIS and/or CAD software, basic IT skills, and the ability to read, understand, interpret, and analyze data. While knowledge of telecommunications network structure is helpful, it is not required, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver telecommunications designs using ESRI suite and other GIS products.
• Maintain and implement processes or procedures effectively.
• Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist assigned department or project.
• Read, interpret, input, and analyze data in support of an assigned department or project.
• Participate actively in drafting and AutoCAD tasks.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in ArcGIS, ESRI, and AutoCAD.
• Ability to manage processes effectively and apply expertise to ensure completion of work assignments.
• Basic IT skills including the use of office hardware and software such as PCs, Tablets, Printers, Copiers, Microsoft, and Google products.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, or at least three years of telecommunications OSP Design/Engineering experience, or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in your assigned function, such as Accounting, Engineering, IT, Procurement, Project Management, etc.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Initially, work will be conducted in-office, with flexibility for a hybrid model as experience grows. This is a Contract position based out of Brentwood, TN.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $29.00/hr.
