Swanky Paws Pet Spa in Lawrenceville, GA, seeks a full or part-time professional pet groomer.
We are focused on HIGH QUALITY GROOMS and EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
We are looking for a seasoned groomer who takes responsibility for their job and wants to be on a team of like-minded people.
Commission, pay based on experience and availability. Our full-time groomers consistently net over $1K/week, even when it's slow.
Our new team member must be friendly, team-oriented, outgoing, and cheerful.
Grooming experience is required, and cat groomers are preferred.
We use industry-specific software, so you need to be comfortable using a computer and be able to learn quickly to use and master new challenges.
As a groomer, part of the job is sales and customer service, so you have to be able to greet clients cheerfully and put them at ease. We are taking care of their beloved pets, and they need to know that we care very much about that responsibility. You must be comfortable answering the phone and talking to clients.
We provide bathers, receptionists, and kennel techs, as well as equipment, equipment maintenance, all products, and necessary items. Groomers are responsible for the daily cleaning of their tools and work areas.
You must be able to read and write English legibly. Spanish is a plus.
Punctuality and dependability are a must. As part of a team, everyone depends on you to arrive on time and to be there when you are scheduled.
Fun is required. We work really hard, but we also laugh and joke and have a good time. This a relaxed place with a diverse, welcoming atmosphere.
This job is approximately 25 to 38 hours per week. We pay hourly plus commission based on experience and ability. We are open 6 days a week, and work hours start at 8 or 9 AM, depending on your preference.
Shifts are generally 6-8 hours. Fridays and Saturdays are required.
