Job Description

Job Title: Document Control Specialist Job Description The Document Control Specialist is responsible for supporting the execution of document control activities in accordance with AS9100 and company quality standards. This role involves securing completed documentation, reviewing all documents and data for completeness and accuracy before uploading into SAP, and performing work order processing for production completion. The specialist will also complete all archiving activities for finalized documents, assist in writing and reviewing department procedures and SOPs, and work on special projects for Quality as needed. Responsibilities + Support the execution of document control activities in accordance with AS9100 and company quality standards. + Secure completed documentation. + Review all documents and data for completeness and accuracy for SAP uploads. + Perform SAP functions in work order processing for production completion. + Complete archiving activities for finalized documents. + Assist in writing and reviewing department procedures and SOPs. + Work on special projects for Quality as needed. + Follow verbal and written instructions effectively. + Deal with document ambiguity and reconcile missing information with relevant groups. + Work independently with minimal supervision, aligning to due dates. + Perform multiple activities for various projects in a fast-paced environment. Essential Skills + Strong personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office. + Knowledge of SAP database. + Understanding of master data/configuration controls in a manufacturing environment. + Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or similar) for recording, storing, and document management. + Experience with AS9100 Quality Standard Documentation. + Data/documentation uploads in SAP. + Writing and reviewing department procedures and SOPs. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. + Skill in dealing with document ambiguity and reconciling missing information. + Capability to work independently with minimal supervision. + Proficiency in performing multiple activities for various projects in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment This position is onsite at the Decatur facility located in Decatur, Alabama. The facility offers a collaborative and dynamic work environment where attention to detail and quality are paramount. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Decatur, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
